Why I started Ladyroams!

Why I started Ladyroams!

Travel has always been more than just a vacation for me. It’s never been about checking countries off a list or rushing from one tourist spot to another. For me, travel is about stories — the kind you live, the kind you taste, and the kind you carry with you long after you’ve returned home.

As a proud Bahraini traveler, I’ve had the chance to explore many destinations — from lively city streets to quiet historic corners. Each place I visited left something behind: a lesson, a memory, or a flavor that stayed with me. And over time, I realized that these moments were too precious to keep only for myself.

That’s when the idea of Lady Roams was born.

Lady Roams is more than just a travel blog. It’s my little corner of the internet where I share not only where I’ve been, but how those journeys made me feel and what they taught me. It’s about the hidden gems that don’t always make it to the guidebooks, the cultural connections that give meaning to a trip, and the inspiration that comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.

Through Lady Roams, I want to:

  • Inspire others to see travel as more than a checklist — to embrace it as a journey of growth and discovery.
  • Share practical guides, itineraries, and tips that make travel easier and more enjoyable.
  • Celebrate the cultural richness of the world while carrying with me the warmth of Arab hospitality wherever I go.

This blog is a reflection of who I am: a traveler with endless curiosity, a storyteller who believes that every journey is a chapter, and a dreamer who knows the world is worth exploring.

So whether you’re here for guides, stories, or just a spark of inspiration for your next adventure, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
